75th Anniversary Celebration -  October 2000

 

 

The Mt. Alvernia High School family spent one week celebrating the school's 75th anniversary. Activities included:

A Dinner, Dedication Ceremony, Visit by Past Students, Netball Match

 

 

 

 

 

The dinner was held in the school's refurbished auditorium/cafeteria. It was an occasion for 'old' friends to renew bonds. The special guest of honour was none other than Sr. Joan Clare Chin Loy who journeyed from the Philippines to celebrate the 75th anniversary with the school family.

HALL OF FAME DEDICATED TO MARGUERITE VERNON

 

Wesley Hewling, past member of the School Board, unveils the plaque

given in honour of outstanding, longserving Music Teacher and

Vice Principal, Marguerite Vernon. The plaque was donated by the

Montego Bay Chapter of Past Students.

shared memories, ideas, insight, motivational words etc.
